In a bizarre crossover event that challenges usual forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the formal statement, "An unusual encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of forbidden practices and monstrous transformations resonate through the shadows." The plot features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine group.

The adventure centers on "strange trials and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Changes

The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Material

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an special katana alongside multiple items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

This update also introduces the game's third complimentary story addition, titled "A Puzzlement."
